Typical outback. Service was good, and so was the food.

Good food as always but the timing between the kitchen and front off the house was way off. We can only just started our soups when the main course came. The waitress decided rather than taking it back to the kitchen, to crowd out table with them. This made the main course colder than it should have been.

Great food, it was super hot, and cooked properly. I had ribs which were fall of the bone, but still maintained their texture. The service staff was extremely accommodating, Julia was my server if you get her you will do alright! I am here all week for business conference, and I will be back!

Holly cow what a mess! Sat at the bar where i5 other people were seated and it took 5 minutes to get a beer. Wanted to order filet and shrimp but only do the shrimp fried. Second choice was prime rib...sold out! Good night! They have some serious problems here.

It was a busy night, but the service was ridiculous. Every employee looks like they are 17. The waitress didn't bring us plates or silverware so we had to wait with our salads and bread sitting in front of us. 3 glasses were dropped right next to our table. Needs better training for their employees

Friendly staff and delicious food! We both ordered the $14.99 combo sirloin & old bay lobster meals. The steak and lobster both were so yummy!! Would highly recommend ordering that while the promotion is still available.

Congratulations Wisconsin Badgers on your Outback Bowl victory! Apparently all Outback employees are still in Tampa...because the store is turning customers away due to a lack of staff. Outback management didn't have any faith in the Big 10.....great way to skip out on the free Coconut shrimp offer! Update. The manager replied to a comment that my wife left, and offered a complimentary meal at the Grand Chute Outback, or another restaurant within the corporation. Regional or Corporate management should be responsible for this. The commercials for the Bowl promotion were planned well in advance...someone dropped the ball in preparing the stores for this event...making local management look bad.

We've eaten here numerous times, but this time the whole experience was off. I would guess the restaurant was short staffed. Everything moved in slow motion. Our poor waitress was bouncing from behind the bar to waiting on patrons. Our food was bad. I had the ribeye sandwich. It was over-seasoned and so well done, it was tough and hard. My husband ordered the steak tacos. They arrived cold and his fries soggy. So disappointed. Every other time the food was good. Hope it was just an off day

Excellent food and beyond excellent service. They were so tentative and checked back often, but not obnoxious. It like fine dining.

Outback is my favorite restaurant, this one however is the worst! 3 different occasions I have come here with my family only to be disappointed by the food and the staff. The staff is rude and the food is not as good at this particular outback. 3 strikes and you are out. You've lost my family as guests and I will be telling everyone of my experiences.

My wife and I first discovered Outback in the mid 1990's in Campbell California. We thought it was our secret but as the years went by Outback Steakhouse's crept nationwide growing to be one of the largest restaurant chains in the nation. Our love affair with this chain is finally over, and we can thank the Appleton Outback for putting the nail in the coffin. The experience started poorly as we waited for our table. I noted parties that had come in after us being seated before us. At first I thought I was losing my mind due to hunger, but after several couples were seated ahead of us I was certain. To my knowledge this restaurant doesn't have any two person booths. When we finally were seated it was in a booth hardly within the restaurant and traveled by every person entering the dining area. Blech! Next up was our waitperson. She greeted us promising to be back soon. Please define soon. By my definition she failed at this basic task. She was nice enough albeit giggly and overly agreeable which I guess really is her job so I'll lay off. We ordered some beverages and appetizers as the family was famished. Shortly thereafter the appetizer arrived. Note I said appetizer. The second appetizer never came and finally the manager came over to explain they had just run out of this particular appetizer. Really? He asked if there another appetizer we wanted but we replied in the negative since we were already mostly done with the one appetizer we did receive. Our waitress followed up and I told her the manager had explained it all but had not made me any type of offer I might take him up on. Shortly thereafter he returned with a certificated for a free blooming onion on my next visit which of course presupposes there will be another visit. Not likely as things didn't improve over the course of our dinner. I noted the menu has changed and not for the better. What was once included in the meal now is a premium adding $1.00 (blue cheese pecan salad) and frankly the menu is tired despite the new choice of how you want your meat cooked. When our steaks arrived I noted mine was bland and mediocre at best. Very pedestrian and flavorless and frankly far less tasty than what I am capable of at home. My wife spit out her first bite as it was just fat grizzle. She proceeded to eat a bit before noting her medium well steak was more like medium rare. Quite a difference really. So she attempted to eat it but failed as she prefers her meat cooked. She asked the waitress if her steak was done medium well and we all agreed it wasn't cooked properly. The waitress offered to have it cooked more. Quite ridiculous at this point so my wife deferred. At some point when I was using the restroom before leaving the restaurant the manager made another apologetic appearance and did wipe her steak from the bill. Yay? My wife did take the offending piece of meat home and I just had it for lunch. Not even a good piece of sirloin with a large fat string running through the length of the cut. Really? I get much better meat at my local grocery store and would expect more from a "steakhouse." Regardless I should be thanking the Appleton store as we are done with Outback and will not return again to get our "free" blooming onion with an overpriced mediocre meal. The entire experience was poor from the service to the quality of the food and atmosphere. Save your bread. Stay out of this chain and find a real local steakhouse. These guys are resting on their laurels and massive advertising budget.

I've been to this Outback location twice. The first time was good, average Outback. The second time not so much. What made the second time awful was the waitress. She started off very promising but that quickly changed. She would forget about us, forget to bring bread to us but bring more to another table after we had requested some more, did not refill our drinks, disappeared from view for 10 minutes and was very slow on the bill. This was the first time I didn't leave a tip. I felt embarrassed but I believe the tip is solely based on the service the waitstaff member provides. Sorry Grand Chute Outback, I won't be returning...

Excellent food and service! They must make the best potato soup on the planet! Hot food was piping hot, tasty and perfectly done. Love the shrimp skewers. This has become my favorite restaurant. Worth the drive from Green Bay. Thank you, Outback staff and management!

Went here 6:30 on a Saturday night. Got seated immediately which I thought was strange for a Saturday night. The rest of the evening explains why. Our drink order was ok however we had to hail down our waitress as 1 guest wanted a second beer. 1/2 order of cheese fries app was very small and obviously sat under heat lamp to long. One guest ordered soup-came out half full. I asked why only half waitress replied he ordered a cup, we put cup size portion in a bowl sized bowl, I've never heard of this approach. Entrees were ribeye-very tough with lots of gristle, flat iron steak with shrimp- both over cooked, 16 oz prime rib- ordered med came out rare and fish tacos with veggie side-tacos ok but had to ask twice for veggie side. Prime rib sent back to kitchen, other guests were done eating when prime rib finally came out. To their credit, management comped prime rib meal but we all agreed it will be our last time at this Outback.

Had my dinner at the bar, which is my usual as I travel the country for work. Ordered my standard , the outback special. The bartender was right on, taking care of business, quite friendly and right in the ball. The steak was good, standard Outback fare. No complaints. I'll be back whenever I am in the area
